[Report on Pet: Isaac Clark et al]

The committee on Incorporation of Towns to whom was referred the petition of Isaac Clark and others, praying that a part of towns of Phillips and Truman may be incorporated into a town - also a remonstrance from the town of Phillips - reported that the petitioners have leave to bring in a Bill - Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence -

[Committee on Education of youth]

The petition of John Hilton and others praying for a revision of the law passed in 1821, relation to the education of youth - committed to Messrs Wilson and Kelleran, came up concurred, and Messrs Gross of New Gloucester - Fletcher of China and Chase of Woodstock were joined -

The following petitions committed in the Senate to the Joint Standing Committee on New Trials, and sent down for concurrence - came up concurred viz - Petition of Selectmen of Unity praying their doings and records may be made valid - "of Aaron Young and others praying that a law may be passed empowering certain persons to arrest certain disturbers of the peace - " of Lucy Moody praying for a divorcement from her husband - " of Barret Potter to extend the powers of Judges of Probate in certain cases - " of John Perham and others praying that George Reed administration on the estate
