A communication was received from the Secretary of State, informing the Senate, that he had contracted with Messrs Todd and Smith for the printing for the State the current year - which with the accompanying papers were read and ordered to be sent down -

A bill entitled "an additional act relating to the ministerial fund in the town of Bridgton in the County of Cumberland - read and passed in the House to be engrossed - came up for concurrence - read a first time, and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading - Committed to the Committee on Bills on second reading -

[also on the Inspection of Butter & Lard]
On motion of Mr Green - Ordered that Messrs Green and Dennett with such as the House may join be a committee to take into consideration the expediency of altering and revising the fee bill - and also what alteration (if any) ought to be made in the law regulating to the inspection of Butter and Lard and other provisions - with leave to report by bill or otherwise - Read - accepted and sent down for concurrence - Came up concurred - and Messrs McCobb - Cobb and Knight were joined -
