[Resolve enacted]

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported that they had examined a resolve appointing a Committee to enquire into the doings of Bangor Bank and found it correctly engrossed - Which resolve was then read and passed by its title -

[Order concerning Bill incorporating town of Truxton]

Order from the House that the bill to incorporate the town of Truxton be taken from the files of the Senate and sent down - was read and concurred and the papers sent down -

[Education of Youth]

Order of the Senate that the Committee to whom was referred the petition of John Hilton and others, be directed to enquire into the expediency of making any amendment in the laws providing for the education of youth - sent down for concurrence - came up concurred -

[Report on sundry Petitions]

The Committee on Incorporation of towns to whom were referred the following petitions viz -

Petition of Nathaniel Larrabee praying that he, with his estate may be set off from Danville and annexed to the town of Durham and of Luther Fogg and others praying to be set off from the town of Monroe and annexed to the town of Brooks - reported that they severally have leave to bring in a Bill - Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence and came up concurred -
