Voted as the sense of the Senate that it is expedient that a tax of fifty thousand Dollars should be apportioned on the polls & Estates of the several towns and Plantations in this State for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the Government for the current year; the sum so apportioned on the polls to be one fifth part of said fifty thousand Dollars

Vote by which the bill entitled "An Act for the limitation of Actions real and personal and of writs of error" was refused a passage to be engrossed, re-considered, and the bill committed to Messrs. Ulmer, Rose & Seaver
