Reports - on petition of plan. No 8 & 9 in Hancock to be incorp. by name of Franklin - on petition of Stephen Clark of Trenton to be annexed to Sullivan - on petition of Nathl Smith of No 14 to annex a part of it to Mariaville - granting an order of notice, came down accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate referring the several Bank returns to the committee on Banks & Bankings for concurrence & the House concurred.

The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed Bill, further regulating the proceedings upon warrants issued by Justice of Peace. - to repeal the 2d section of an act entitled an act to restrain unincorporated Banking Associations and for other purposes were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed - Resolve for the relief of William Norwood - in favor of Bennet Pike, Luther Richardson & William Haskell - were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Ordered, that Messrs Merrill of Gorham, Crowell & Reed be a committee to consider the expediency of passing a law regulating public Shows - read & passed.
