Mr McIntire obtained leave of absence after today.

[Conference on subject of Electors &c]

The committee on conference on the subject of the resolves directing the mode of making choice of Electors of President & Vice President reported that the House adhere to their own vote passing a Bill upon the subject as in the new Draft - report read & refused acceptance

[Resolve - State Prisons]

Resolve appropriating money for the support of the States Prison - was read a 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Messrs Burgin " Wilder " Glover & Haskell obtained leave of absence after today -

[Committee - pay to Chaplains -]

Ordered that Messrs Cobb, Butterfield of S. & Bailey with such as the Senate may join be a committee to consider what compensation ought to be made to the Chaplain of the Senate and the several Chaplains of the House of Representatives for their services the present session - Read & passed - Sent up for concurrence

[Bill - endorsement of Writs]

Bill, respecting the endorsement of writs - was taken up the vote passing the same to be engrossed, reconsidered & the same referred to Messrs Jos. Adams of P. Dunn of Poland & Fitch.

[Bills - additional - C.C. Pleas]

Bill additional to an act to establish a Court of Common Pleas, reported in a new draft, was read a 3d time time as in new draft & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence
