[Bill - dormant titles -]

Bill to present the buying & selling of dormant titles, was taken up & on motion of Mr Ruggles referred to the next Legislature in concurrence & ordered to be published under the direction of the Clerk of this House in the Eastern Argus.

[Bill - Militia -]

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed, Bill, additional to an Act to organize, govern & discipline the militia of this State, - and thereupon on motion, the vote passing the same to be engrossed was reconsidered and the bill amended by striking out the fifth section - The House then passed the same to be engrossed as amended & sent up the Bill by message to the Senate for their concurrence.

[Resolve - pay Roll of Senate]

Resolve on the Pay Roll of the Senate, was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

[Resolve - public Lands -]

Resolve making an appropriation for carrying into effect the act respecting Public Lands, was read twice & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Enacted -]

The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed - Bills to promote the sale & settlement of public lands - providing for the government of the States Prison & for the punishment of Convicts were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

[Resolves finally passed.]

The same committee reported as duly engrossed, Resolves - providing for the education of the deaf & dumb - on the Pay Roll of the House of Representatives - on the Pay Roll of the Senate - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.
