Mr Nahum Morrill of Wells returned as a member, appeared, produced his credentials, was qualified & took his seat.

Petition of Parkman & Monson to be annexed to the County of Penobscot, taken from the files of the Senate last year, referred in Senate to the Committee on the incorporation of towns came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Petition of John Gray Junior & als of Woodstock that their lands may be annexed to Paris, taken from the last years files of the Senate, referred in Senate to the Committee on the incorporation of towns, came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Petition of the Trustees of Foxcroft Academy for pecuniary aid, referred in Senate to the Committee on Literature & Literary Institutions, came down for concurrence and the House concurred.

Petition of the Selectmen of Sangerville that their proceedings may be made valid, referred in Senate to the Committee on New Trials, came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Petition of Charles Hayden in behalf of the town of Winslow that the original limits of said town may be restored referred in Senate to the Committee on Incorporation of towns, came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.

The Committee to revise the law concerning Registers of Deeds, reported a Bill - & the report was accepted.

Bill in addition to an act entitled an act concerning Registers of Deeds, was read 1st time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 2d reading.
