Ordered, that Messrs White of Monmouth, Charles of Fryburg and Hodgman of Warren be a committee to report a Resolve providing for the payment of the person employed to draft and copy bills - and also the engrossing Clerks - read & passed.

The order directing the committee on State lands to enquire what lands belonging to the two States, adjoins the town of Gilead &c - came again from the Senate, that body adhering to their vote passing the same and inviting a conference - The House adhere to their vote and appoint as Conferees, Messrs Dane of Kennebunk, Wingate of Bath and Adams of Portland.

Bill granting certain privileges to the town of Islesboro', was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill to incorporate the east Pond Dam Company in Vassalboro' was read a 3d time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill additional act respecting the admission of Attornies came from the Senate amended for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of the Brunswick force pump Waterworks, was read a 1st & 2d time and tomorrow at 10' oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Messrs Stone of Jay - McKown of Boothbay - Boutelle of Waterville had leave of absence after tomorrow.

Messrs Allen of Norridgewock - Hatch of Bowdoinham - Burns of Madison had leave of absence after Thursday next.
