Resolves making appropriation for the expenses of the State Arsenal - - respecting the settlers on the St Johns & Mattawaska Rivers - - in favor of Jackson Davis - - making an appropriation for the State Prison - were finally passed. Sent up for concurrence

Messrs Thompson of Industry - Butterfield of Farmington - Hammond of Elliot - Cooledge of Dexter obtained to leave to be absent after tomorrow.

Bill imposing fines on towns neglecting to choose Representatives came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature agreeably to the report of the Committee of Conference - and the House concurred.

Resolve agreeing to the proposals of the American Asylum was read and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve relating to the accounts of A. G. Chandler & R. K. Lane was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill in addition to an act to secure rent to lessors of house lots and Mill privileges was read once, and indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve relating to the division of public lands, was read once and passage refused.

Report on the petition of Selectmen of Brooks, granting leave to withdraw came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.
