Dear Sir
I have had another talk with Col Roberts today cocerning [concerning?] that matter. He seems a little lost to part with us but say under the sircumstances [circumstances] he cannot object if we are replaced by other men He says thare [there] will be no trouble about getting transferred if we get the appointments William is very anxious to be promoted He wishes me to say to you that if thare [[there] is any chance he thinks he might as well have it as any boddy [anybody]
