Ordered that the committee on Interior fisheries be requested to take into consideration the expediency of altering the law entitled an act to regulate the taking of fish in Dyers river passed February 7th 1822 with leave &c - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Jewett of Bowdoinham, Ordered, that the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, inquire into the expediency of repealing a law granting liberty to Samuel Gray & others to build a free bridge over Cathance river, or passing an act in addition to said act authorizing the towns of Bowdoinham & Topsham to repair & build said Bridge. - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Jewett of Bowdoinham, Ordered, that the committee who have under consideration the subject relative to Sheriffs, also take into consideration the expediency of establishing salaries for the Register of Deeds in the several Counties, & of said Registers rendering a true account of fees by them received. - read + passed.
