on motion of Mr. Robinson of Hallowell Ordered that Messrs. Robinson of Hallowell Tuttle of Canaan and Morrill of Westbrook be a Committee with such as the Senate may join to consider the expediency of granting Two Hundred Acres of Land to each non commissioned officers and Soldier of the Revolution who enlisted for and served a term of not less than three years at one time who at the time of his enlistment was an inhabitant of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is now an inhabitant of this State and who has not already received money or Land under the provisions of a Resolve or Resolves of the said Commonwealth of Massachusetts and also to each widow of any such officer or Soldier who was at the time of his decease an inhabitant of this State with leave to report by Bill or otherwise Read and passed Sent up for concurrance [concurrence]
