Bill - to annex a part of the town of Hallowell to the town of Gardiner, was taken up - The House insist on their vote whereby they passed the Bill to be engrossed as amended on sheet annexed marked D. propose a conference, and appoint as conferees on their part Messrs. Vose of Augusta, Jarvis of Ellsworth and Pierce of Portland - sent up for concurrence -

A Message was received from the Senate proposing a convention of the two branches of the Legislature, in the Representatives Hall tomorrow at eleven o'clock for the purpose of choosing a Treasurer of State, requesting the concurrence of this House - and the House concurred and the Clerk by Message acquainted the Senate therewith -

And the House adjourned
