On motion by Mr. Jarvis of Ellsworth, Ordered, That the joint standing committee on the Judiciary be directed to enquire whether any alteration can be made in the present laws regulating attachments on mesne process, or sales of property on execution by which the rights of attaching creditors, may be better preserved, and ruinous sacrifices to the debtor prevented.
