Petition of Noah E. Chase & others of Pittsfield to be annexed to Chandlerville, was read & referred to the committee on Division of Towns. Sent up for concurrence.

The House recede from their vote of 26 ult on the Report on the petition of Cornelius Thompson, and concur with the Senate in accepting said report granting the petitioners leave to withdraw.

The Committee to whom was referred on the 20th ult. the Bill - "regulating attachments on Real Estate" reported the same in a new draft with the title "An Act additional to an act respecting the attachment of Real Estate on mesne process " - and the same was once read and 500 copies of the original Bill & also of the new draft ordered to be printed for the use of the members.

Petition of the Directors of the Gardiner Cotton and Woolen Manufacturing Company to be exempted from taxation was referred in concurrence with the Senate to the committee on Manufactures.
