The Senate reconsider their votes finally passing said Resolves and passing the same to be engrossed; adopt the proposed amendment, nonconcur the House in finally passing said Resolves and order the same to be re-engrossed as amended; of which the House were informed by message and their concurrence requested. Concurred.

On motion of Mr. Clark, Ordered that a message be sent to the Governor requesting the return of the "Resolve relative to the election of Senators," if the same be not approved by him; --- which message was delivered by the Secretary. The Secretary of State came in and laid upon the table the "Resolve relative to the election of Senators" agreeably to the above request.
