On motion of Mr. Emmons,

Ordered, that the rules and Orders of the Senate so far as they require that every member shall stand when he speaks be dispensed with in respect to the Hon. Charles Greene a Senator from the County of Somerset, and that he, during the present session, be permitted to address the Board in a sitting posture, in consequence of bodily indisposition which disqualifies him from standing when he speaks -- read and passed.

Order from the House of Representatives appointing Messrs Paris of Buckfield, Webster of Lincoln, Call of Bangor and Pease of Lexington a Committee, with such as the Senate may join, to inquire into the expediency of passing a law offering a bounty for the destruction of Wolves, Bears and Loupeerviers -- read and passed, and Messrs, Mantor, Read and Greene of York are joined in concurrence.

Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of further legal enactments to prevent the vending of lottery tickets, in the State -- read and the Senate nonconcur with the House and refer the same to the Committee that have the subject of lotteries under consideration. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on Accounts to inquire into the expediency of allowing to Elisha North of Westbrook the amount of moneys expended by him in the pursuit and arrest of Criminals and in the pursuit of fugitives from justice -- read and passed in concurrence
