Bill to incorporate the People's Bank was read the second time and, on motion of Mr. Barnard ordered to lie on the table. Petition of Philip Morrell and others that no more Banks, be incorporated and that the Capital Stock of no Bank be increased so long as the present system of Banking shall be continued -- read & referred to the Committee on Banks and Banking in concurrence; and on motion of Mr. Greene of York, ordered that 200 copies of said petition be printed for the use of the Senate.
