The Senate, on motion of Mr. Prescott, reconsider the vote whereby they passed to be engrossed Resolve in favor of Joshua Elder and order the same to be recommitted, of which the House were informed by message and their concurrence requested. Concurred.

The Committee on Division of Towns reported order of notice to next Legislature on petition of Peter Gilman - read and accepted, in concurrence.

The report of the same Committee on petition of James Leighton and others was read and recommitted with instructions to report a statement of facts, in concurrence.

Mr. Prescott, from the Committee on Claims, reported leave to withdraw on petition of Charles Frost and others - read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr. Tobin, from the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges, and Canals, reported order of notice to next Legislature on petition of Nathan L. Merrill and others -- read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr. O'Brien, from the Committee on Division of Towns; reported leave to withdraw on petition of inhabitants of the town of Brownfield and order of notice to next Legislature on petition of John Barker -- read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
