Resolve providing for the purchase and distribution of the Northern Shepherd came up. The Senate nonconcur the House in passing said Resolve to be engrossed and adhere to their vote of the fifth instant in the indefinite postponement of the same. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Mr. Prescott, from the Committee on Claims to which was referred the petition of the town of Appleton, made a report asking to be discharged from any further action on the subject, and that the same be referred to the Representatives composing the Delegation from the County of Waldo - read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Mr. Greene of Somerset has leave of absence from and after Monday next.
