make a return to the Secretary of State as soon as may be in relation to the proportion of their discounts for the last year, the amount of stock held by Directors &c and on an order relative to Banks discounting paper payable at any place other than those in which the Banks are located - read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

The same Gentleman, from the same Committee, reported that said Committee had acted upon all the business referred to them and asked to be discharged from the further consideration of any business, during the remainder of the present session - read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Resolve in favor of Hall Clements was read the second time, and the same, on motion of Mr. Miller, was ordered to lie on the table.

Resolve for establishing a Board of Internal Improvements (reported with an amendment by Mr Clark, from the Select Committee of the Senate to which said Resolve was committed. The Senate reconsider their vote of the 20th of February last whereby they indefinitely postponed the same, adopt the amendment proposed by the Committee and pass the same to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed, Resolve for the payment of Accounts against the State and the same was finally passed.
