317. Resolve providing for opening a Road across a part of the Mattawamkeag Indian township (reported by the same Gentleman from the same Committee) " in aid of the Maine Wesleyan Seminary (reported by the Committee on Literary Institutions on petition of a Committee of the Trustees of said Seminary) severally read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill in addition to an Act to incorporate the town of Naples, passed March 4, 1834, was taken up, and the Senate nonconcur with the House in recommitting said Bill and indefinitely postpone the same. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Bill additional respecting manufacturing Companies, was read once and referred to the Committee on Manufactures, in concurrence.

Bill additional to regulate the survey of Lumber in the County of Penobscot, came up - the House insisting on their vote passing the same to be engrossed as by their proposed amendment. The Senate nonconcur with the House and adhere to their vote of the 18th instant passing the same to be engrossed as amended on sheet marked H. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill additional respecting Wills and Testaments and regulating the descent of Intestate Estates and to limit the liability of the husband for the debts of the wife contracted before married came up from the House further amended so that the title thereof shall be Bill in addition to an Act respecting wills and testaments and regulating the descent of intestate
