Monday January 25. 1836.

Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of prohibiting by law, the auction sale of the maintenance of Paupers by towns - read and passed in concurrence.

Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to report a Bill, authorizing all corporations hereafter established to sue and be sued by their corporate name - have a common seal - make bylaws not inconsistent with law and divide their corporate property into as many shares as they may deem expedient - read and passed in concurrence.

Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of making further provision, where persons have made out or presented their claim for military pension lands, but have died previous to the location - and of explaining any other doubts in regard to said lands - read and passed in concurrence.
