Resolve in favor of William Jordan Jr. was read the second time, and the question of passing the same to be engrossed in concurrence, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays was decided in the affirmative, as follows, to wit, Yeas. Messrs. Allen, Clark, Frye, Jarvis, Johnson, Kelsey, Mantor, McIntire, Merrow, Severance, Staples and Weeks. 12. Nays. Messrs. Benson, Greene Miller, Pierce, Purinton, Spear, Strickland and Talbot 8.

Mr Mantor from the Committee on Interior Waters, to which were referred petitions John G. Heath and others, James Dinsmore and others, William Emerson & others, Levi Gates and others and Prince B. Mooers and others, made a report asking to be discharged from the further consideration thereof and recommending the reference of the same to the Committee on the Judiciary - read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

The Committee on Division of Towns reported leave to withdraw on petition of John Barker and the same came up from the House referred to the next Legislature - read and referred in concurrence.
