Petition of Moses White, praying for a township of settling land upon certain conditions; Petition of John C. Hayden and others, for the purchase of the soil of the upper Eastern Indian Township, severally read and referred to the Committee, on State Lands. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of Allen H. Cobb and others, praying for a Charter to erect a Dam across the Androscoggin River at the South West Bend in Durham - read and referred to the Committee on Interior Waters in concurrence.

Petition of the inhabitants of Bloomfield, -"- of Abraham Wyman and others praying that Bloomfield may be changed and take the name of Skowhegan - read and referred to the Committee that have under consideration the petition of the inhabitants of Milburn in concurrence.

Mr. Staples from the Committee on Claims reported leave to withdraw on petition of Asaph Farnsworth and others, - read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.
