Ans. If that is by an authoritative report of my speech, I have no doubt I said it. Ques. Would you have stated those sentiments if you had not entertained them and honestly believed them. Ans. I should not say what I did not believe. Ques. When you said that you had investigated the subject and found that to be the fact, you meant that also. Ans. I meant all I said, whatever that was, I do not say you have a report of it correctly.
