1203 Q.(cont.) in the management of hospitals, you did not see any special improvement you could suggest? A. There were continual improvements, which Mrs. Quimby and I together suggested. During the two years we called attention to the fact that there were not night nurses enough, that suggestion I believe was acted on promptly. I think there were more put on. That may have been while I was one of the trustees Q. What else? A. It is pretty difficult to tell,, the matters were very small in themselves, but we continually made suggestions in relation to the management in the wards. Q. What improvements did you effect or cause to be effected? A. Perhaps they would have been made if we had not recommended them. I think the class of intendants was improved considerably during that two years. Q. I suppose you still think there is room for improvement in the class of attendants? A.
