15.11--Commission to Study Relocation of State School for Boys. Created by P.&S.L. 1959, c. 149.

Duties--determine the long-range purpose of a training school for male juvenile offenders; determine the best site for relocation of the State School for Boys; and determine the advisability of relocating the State School for Boys at Fort McKinley.

Members--1 Senator appointed by President of the Senate, 1 Representative appointed by Speaker of the House, 1 from Department of Institutional Speaker appointed by the Commissioner, 1 from Department of Finance and Administration appointed by the Commissioner, and 1 to be State Director of Bureau of Public Improvement.

15.12--Commissioner to Prepare Revision of the Criminal Laws. Created by P.&S.L. 1971, c. 147.

Duties--supervise the preparation in final legislative form of a proposed Criminal Code for the State of Maine to be presented to the 107th Legislature.

Members--11 to 14. 4 members from the bar, 2 of whom shall have been active in criminal cases; 2 from the field of mental health and corrections, 1 of whom should be the Warden of the Maine State Prison; 4 representatives of the public; 4 consultants. All appointed by the Governor. Attorney General ex-officio member.
