We aimed to investigate the effect of implementing enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) principles in the perioperative period of pediatric inguinal hernia (IH).
In this prospective study, 98 children undergoing surgery for IH in our hospital were randomly divided into the control group (n=49, routine nursing) and the study group (n=49, nursing care with ERAS principles). The anesthesia recovery period, time from end of surgery to first ambulation and to first anal exhaust, length of hospital stay, mental state before and after the intervention, pain level, incidence of complications, and family satisfaction with the nursing care were compared between the two groups. The recurrence rate of IH within half a year was recorded.
Compared with the control group, the time from the end of surgery to first ambulation and to first anal exhaust and the length of hospital stay were shorter in the study group (all P<0.05). After the nursing intervention, both groups achieved better scores in mental state and pain level, and the improvement in the study group in mental state and pain level was greater than that in the control group (all P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the study group had higher family satisfaction with the nursing care and lower incidence of complications during hospitalization (both P<0.05). During the half-year follow-up, no recurrence was observed in both groups.
The implementation of ERAS principles in the perioperative period of pediatric IH can help to relieve postoperative pain, reduce psychological discomfort, reduce the incidence of complications, and promote postoperative recovery in children.

This study investigated and analyzed the association of interferon-γ (IFN-γ) gene polymorphisms and Th1/Th2 balance in tuberculosis susceptibility.
From January 2018 to January 2020, 121 tuberculosis patients that were hospitalized for initial treatment and were chosen as the pulmonary tuberculosis group, and another 80 healthy individuals with physical examination in the same period were selected as the control group. The genetic distribution of IFN-γ +874 sites in the two sets of subjects was detected by sequence-specific primer PCR (PCR-SSP), the serum IFN-γ level was detected by ELISA, and the ratio of Th1 and Th2 on cells in two sets of subjects were detected by flow cytometry. Subsequently, we compared the differences in IFN-γ degree and the changes in Th1/Th2 in patients with different genotypes.
The difference in the distribution of IFN-γ (+874 T/A) genotype frequencies between the two groups of subjects was significantly different (
), and the frequency of A allele in the tuberculosis group wa, making it more susceptible to infection with mycobacterium which induces tuberculosis.
To explore the clinical efficacy of comprehensive rehabilitation nursing (CRN) intervention in patients with cerebral hemorrhagic hemiplegia (CHH).
A total of 102 patients with CHH admitted to our hospital were selected for the prospective study. The patients were randomly divided into the control group (n=51) and the observation group (n=51) according to the random number table method. Routine nursing was performed in the control group, while CRN was conducted in the observation group. Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment scale, activity of daily living scale (Barthel index), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), complications and muscle strength improvement (Brunnstrom assessment) were compared between the two groups.
Compared with those before nursing, Fugl-Meyer score, Barthel index and SAS score in the two groups after nursing were significantly improved (P<0.01). Fugl-Meyer score and Barthel index of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group after nursing, while SAS score showed the opposite change (P<0.001). The incidence of complications in the control group was 49.02%, and that in the observation group was 29.41% (P<0.05). The rate of muscle strength improvement in the observation group was 80.39% after nursing, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (60.78%; P<0.05).
CRN intervention has a positive clinical efficacy in patients with CHH. It can enhance motor ability, improve the ability of daily life, amend psychological mood and reduce the incidence of complications.

To investigate the effect of comprehensive nursing on the appearance and recovery of oral squamous cell carcinoma.
52 patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma admitted to our hospital from February 2019 to February 2020 were selected and divided into a control group (n = 26, conventional nursing care) and an observation group (n = 26, comprehensive nursing). The postoperative hospital stay and postoperative intravenous infusion time, quality of life score, postoperative complications, nursing satisfaction, shape recovery, SAS score, etc. selleck screening library were compared between the two groups.
(1) The observation group had a shorter postoperative hospital stay and postoperative intravenous infusion time compared to the control group. The observation group also showed higher scores of ADL, psychological function, physical function, and social function after nursing. Regarding the incidence of postoperative complications, the observation group was lower than the control group; the observation group had higher nursing satiety feelings of patients, with a higher satisfaction rate.
The application of comprehensive nursing in patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma is remarkable, which can promote the recovery of patients' disease and their appearance, decrease postoperative complications, and relieve the anxiety feelings of patients, with a higher satisfaction rate.
