Correspondence from William Brooks Cabot to Fannie Hardy Eckstorm ca. 1930-1946, part 3 (ms158_b1f017_003.03.pdf)
a crack at those Lincoln Swells with their grand house furnishings - I should be glad to chip in 10. or so. I got a feel they thought you had neglected them. They certainly believe themselves custodians of all true Norragewock history.
I mean to write to Leo Shay, but haven't yet - am a bit out of gear here at the club. A hope that the Lady Niece would not stick it long at 447 isn't realized.
Sincerely Wm. B. Cabot.
