Dear Mrs. Eckstorm,

I have your two letters. Many thanks for the [word not clear] list. I may get energetic & index it. You need not hurry about the Pacifique [?] names, for I have the original index, & it is about as handy to use as the book copy I sent you.

We did have quite a show, salmon & all, & your Elmer & the Dr. added much. I have not heard from them.

Re Ripogenus, the name of land at Stamford, Ct. was Rippowamus, also Nippowance, now Mill R. at Yonkers, N.Y.,is a creek Bolton called Nippizan, now Sawmill C.[?] Rasles, 444/445, has na ' ipasis[?], one goes down the river. Rasles[word underlined] uses map -- in words of quickness &
