[Committee on taxing of Manufactories]
On motion of Mr. Scamman Ordered that the Joint Standing Committee on Applications for Manufacturing Companies, be instructed to take into consideration the expediency of exempting by law from taxation Manufacturing Companies under certain limitations. Sent down for concurrence, and came up concurred. Adjourned
Resolve for purchasing Greenleaf's Reports was read a 2d. time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.
Petition of Inhabitants of Parkman and Monson was on motion of Mr. Kelsey, ordered to be taken from the files and laid on the table; which was referred to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns. Sent down for concurrence and came up concurred.
