[Report on Petition] Report of the Committee on the Petition of the Trustees and Overseers of Bowdoin College, which had been accepted and sent down for concurrence, came up, and the House recommit the subject and instruct the Committee to report a Statement of facts in relation to the wants of the College. The Senate reconsider their former vote and concur with the House.

[Resolve] Resolve in favor of the Gardiner Lyceum was read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House.

[Reports on Petitions] Mr. Whitney from the Committee on Petition of Joel Wellington and others, reported that they have leave to bring in a Bill: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence, and came up concurred.

Mr. Green from Committee on Petition of the town of Hollis, reported that the petitioners cause an attested copy of their petition with this order thereon to be served on the town Clerks of the towns of Hollis, Waterborough and Lyman respectively, eight days at least before the first Monday of February next: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence, and came up concurred.

Mr. Green from the Committee on Petition of Daniel Shaw, reported that the petitioner have leave to bring in a Bill: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence, and came up concurred.
