Mr. Churchill from the Committee on petition of President and Directors of Casco Bank, reported a

Bill in addition to an act to incorporate the President, Directors and Company of the Casco Banks, which was read once and committed and tuesday next at 10 O clock assigned for a 2d Reading.

Mr. Churchill from the Committee on the petition of R. C. Johnson and others, reported a

Bill to incorporate the Belfast Bank, which was read once and committed and tuesday next at 10 O clock assigned for a 2d Reading.

Mr. Stebbins from the committee, on petition of Inhabitants of Durham, for a new Trial, reported that the petitioners cause an attested copy of their petition, with his order thereon to be served on the inhabitants of Lewiston by leaving an attested copy thereof with the town Clerk of said Lewiston on or before the 24th day of January instant, and make return thereof before the first monday of February next: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence: came up concurred.
