Remonstrance of John Gooch & als. against the petition of Joseph M. Barker & als. committed in the House to the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, came up for concurrence: Read and concurred.

Mr. Parsons of L. from the committee on an order upon that subject, reported that it is not expedient, at the present time, to amend the laws regulating the Herring Fishery of this State: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence:

came up with amendments, in which the Senate concurred, and passed the same to be engrossed.

Bill additional to an Act to regulate Manufactur and Inspection of stone lime and lime casks,” was read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed with an amendment: sent down for concurrence.

Mr Ripley from the committee on engrossed Bills, reported a

to be truly copied, and they were passed to be enacted
