that an attested copy of the report of the Justices aforesaid be transmitted to the Governor and Council, and a like copy to the House of Representatives; and that the several questions submitted to the Justices aforesaid, and their answers, be printed in the newspapers in which are published the laws of the State: Read and accepted.

Mr. Southwick from the committee, on an order upon that subject, reported that the Legislature may have a recess on thursday next; and

also further reported a

Resolve fixing the place of meeting of the next Legislature at Wiscasset,” Read and the further consideration thereof postponed till monday next at 11 oclock.

Mr. Ripley from the committee on engrossed Bills, reported a

Bill to incorporate the Belfast Bank ,” to be truly copied and it was passed to be enacted.

Bill additional to an and to regulate the manufacture and inspection of stone lime and lime casks,” came up with amendments; The Senate concur in a part of the amendments; nonconcur in others, and adopt further amendments, and now pass the Bill to be engrossed: sent down for concurrence.
