Met according to adjournment.

Mr Ide of Frankfort laid upon the table Resolve requiring a return of the names of the Stockholders in the Banks in this State, which was read once and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.

Petition of Parker McCobb & others for a bank at Portland - was read and referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on Banks and Banking.

An order came from the Senate instructing the Committee on Manufactures to enquire into the expediency of amending the law relative to Lime & Lime Casks, so that there shall be a penalty for selling or offering for sale, lime Casks which are not according to law, and the House concurred.

Orders of Notice on petition of John Fuller & others - - John Strout & others were severally granted in concurrence with the Senate.

Petition of John H White & others of Madison to be annexed to Milburn was read & referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on Division of Towns.

Petitions of Edmund Dresser & others & Jonas Jewett & others referred in this House on the 18th inst. to the committee on Agriculture came from the Senate noncurred & referred to the committee on Interior Waters - and the House insist upon their reference of the 18th instant.
