Bill - An Act to incorporate the town of Greenville was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve in favor of the Proprietors of township No6 in the 3d Range West from the east line of the State was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill - An Act to alter & establish the dividing line between the towns of Montville & Freedom, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the South Paris Manufacturing Company, came from the Senate amended for concurrence, and the House agreed thereto.

An order came from the Senate directing the Committee on the Judiciary to enquire into the expediency of providing by law, for this appointment by the Governor & Council of a Commissioner or Commissioners in any State where it may be deemed necessary, before whom Deeds & others instruments to be recorded in this State may be acknowledged - and Depositions to be used in this State may be taken - and the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate instructing the Committee on Manufactures to inquire into the expediency of so altering the law relative to the inspection of Pot & Pearl aches so as to add an other sort to the quality of Pearl ashes by designating the purest and best, first sort extra - also as to the Inspectors fees so as to make the law - cents penet [?[ hundred instead of gross - and the House concurred.
