The order of yesterday in relation to criminal prosecutions - fines & forfeitures &c, came from the Senate nonconcurred & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary - and the House receded & concurred.

Report on petition of Solomon Littlefield reformed in this House yesterday to a joint select committee came from the Senate nonconcurred & recommitted to the Committee on Claims - and the House insisted upon their vote of yesterday.

On motion by Mr Cunningham of Swanville - Ordered That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of requiring by Law presiding Officers in our Cities, Towns, & Plantation meetings holden on the 2d Monday of Sept, annually to read to the Electors on opening of said meeting the 3d sect. of an act entitled an additional act regulating Elections passed March, 1831.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill - An Act to incorporate the Waldo Fire & Marine Insurance Company which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence

Petition of the Inh. of Bucksport - " Inh. of Milford - in relation to the fisheries on the Penobscot River - were severally read & referred to the Committee on Interior on Fisheries - Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Robert M. N. Smith & others for a Bank at Stillwater with a Capital of $300 - 000 - was read & referred to the Committee on Banks and Banking. Sent up for concurrence.
