Bill - An Act additional for the support & regulation of Mills, was read once & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary in concurrence.

Resolve for the appointment of a Commissioner of the Insane Hospital, was taken & the vote of the 6th inst passing the same to be engrossed reconsidered, and the Resolve recommitted. Sent up for concurrence

Bill - An Act concerning Hallowell Academy. was read 1st & 2d time & Monday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Report of the Committee on the Bill referred from the last session, entitled "an act establishing an Academy at Princeton" that the same ought not to pass, was read & accepted. Sent up for concurrence

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Great Works Milling & Manufacturing Company, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended or sheet annexed marked A. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion by Mr Chadwick of Gardiner Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary enquire into the expediency of so amending, "an act to annex the town of Litchfield to the County of Kennebec" approved March 10 1835, arte [?] provide for the prosecution of any suit touching Real Estate then pending in any Court in the County of Lincoln to final judgement & execution - also of providing by a general law for such future exigences as may arise. Sent up for concurrence.
