Petition of Abner Mitchell & others for modification in the militia law - was read & referred to the Committee on the Militia. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Philip Morrill & others for a repeal of the law suppressing the circulation of small Bills - was read & referred to the Committee on the Militia. Sent up for concurrence.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed, Bill - An Act concerning Hallowell Academy - - An Act additional to an Act to provide for the Inspection of Hops for exportation - - An Act to annex a tract of land Waldo plantation - which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

The same Committee reported as truly engrossed - Resolve - in favor of the town of Springfield in the County of Penobscot - which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve respecting the shire town of the County of Hancock, came from the Senate amended as on sheet annexed marked A - the House adopted the amendment of the Senate as further amended by them on sheet B, and passed the Resolve to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
