On motion by Mr Cram of Bridgton, Ordered, That the Committee on Finance be requested to enquire into the propriety of directing the State Treasurer and also the Treasurer of Cumberland County to refund to the towns of Bridgton, Harrison, Otisfield, Raymond and Sebago the sums paid by said Town's the last year more than their proportion of State and County taxes in consequences of an error in State valuation -

Mr Smith of Palmyra has leave of absence for four dats from and after tomorrow -

Petition of Henry J. & Betsy Prince for leave to change their names - was read & referred to the Committee on change of names;

Petition of Asa Piper & others for a repeal of the law prohibiting small Bills - of Judah Dana & others for a Bank at Fryeburg - were severally read & referred to the Committee on Banks & Banking. Sent up for concurrence

Petitions of John Ham & others for the incorporation of the Franklin House Proprietary [?] - - of the First Parish in Fryeburg to have their doings made valid were severally read & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.
