Met according to adjournment.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Madacunk Mill Company, was read a 1st & 2 time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolve authorizing the County Commissioner for the County of Washington to locate a County read over land belonging to the State - was read a second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Bill - An Act additional for the more effectually ascertaining the quality of Pot & Pearl ashes, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Portland Exchange Company, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Resolve requiring the Treasurer to pay the members of the Legislature and distribute the school fund in gold and silver was taken taken up and the amendments proposed by the Senate as on sheet annexed marked B adopted, and the Bill further amended as on sheet C & postponed until Tuesday next.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the St Croix Navigation Company, as un last printed draft was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
