Bernard C Bailey to build a Dam across tide waters in the town of Woolwich - - An Act creating the Saco and Biddeford Village Corporation - - An Act to incorporate the Pleasant River Iron and Steel Company - - An Act to incorporate the Proprietors of the Franklin House - An Act on incorporate the Portland Granite Comp - which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Message was received from the Senate informing the House that the Senate had receded from their vote on the joint order directly two sessions each day and asking the concurrence of the House - The House refused to concur.

On motion of Mr Holmes of Alfred, Ordered that when the House adjourns, it adjourn to meet at nine clock tomorrow morning.

Bill - An Act prohibiting the emission & circulation of Bank Bills of a small denomination and certain others, was further amended - and then passed to be engrossed - and the question was taken by yeas & nays and decided as follows yeas 93 Nays 73. [see appendix page 81.]. Sent up for concurrence.

And then the House adjourned.
