Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve concerning the State Prison was read & second time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Report on petition of Manasseh Sleeper & others referring the same to the next Legislature, was read & accepted in concurrence.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed Resolve authorizing the appointment of a Superintendent of Public Buildings - which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

The same Committee reported as truly engrossed Bill - An Act to incorporate the Megunticook Bank which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve authorizing the governor & Council to appoint Bank Commissioners - was read twice & passed to be engrossed as amended Sent up for concurrence.


Bill - An Act additional concerning meeting Houses - came from the Senate, that body refusing a Conference and adhering to there vote referring the Bill to the next Legislature - the House adhere to their vote passing the same to be engrossed as amended.
