Report of the Committee on the order in relation to paying the expenses of members who have been sick during the session, that the Resolves on the subject ought not to pass, was read & accepted
Resolve relating to the Barring & Houlton Road was called up & referred to Messrs Smith of Westbrook, Hobbs of Eastport & Adams of Lincoln with instructing to Report a Bill.
Bill - An Act supplementary to an act for the relief of Poor Debtors - came from the Senate further amended and the House agreed to the amendments and passed the Bill to be engrossed as amended in concurrence.
Bill - An Act to incorporate the Bucksport Mill and Water Power Company was read 1st & 2d time and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.
Bill - An additional act regulating elections was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.
The Committee on Parishes was discharged from further service - Sent up for concurrence.
The Committee on the subject reported an order which being amended passed as follows Ordered, That the Committee on the Pay Roll be instructed to make up, forthwith the Pay Roll of this House to, and including Monday next & that from and after Monday next this House will adjourn without day.
