Bill - An additional act for the regulation of Banks & Banking - laid on the table by Mr Lake of Bucksport, was read 1st & 2d time & referred to the next Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill - An Act to incorporate the Ellsworth Bank was taken up - report of Conferees read & accepted and then the House recede from their former vote and concur with the Senate & pass the Bill to be engrossed and the question was decided by yeas & nays as follows Yeas 74 nays 57. [See appendix page 254.]
Bill - An Act to incorporate the Proprietors of Smith Block in Bangor came from the Senate that body insisting upon their vote passing the Bill to be engrossed - the House recede from their former vote and pass the Bill to be engrossed in concurrence.
Bill - An Act to authorize the cession of Jurisdiction and real estate to the United States in certain cases - was read 1st 2d & 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill - An Act to authorize the collection of interest on Executions - which had passed this House to be enacted, came from the Senate amended by striking out the words "& costs" & ordered to be reengrossed - the House accept the report of conferees adopt said amendment & pass the Bill to be re engrossed in concurrence with the Senate
