Bill - An Act altering the time of a term of the Supreme Judicial Court in the County of Lincoln - " additional act regulating elections - were severally read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
Message from the Governor [see appendix page 20.] transmitting "Preamble & Resolutions of the Legislature of Mississippi in relation to the persons denominated abolitionists was in Senate read and sent down - in House read and sent up.
Bill - An Act to establish a Municipal Court in the town of Augusta was taken up and the House adhered to their vote passing the Bill to be engrossed without the amendment agreeably to the recommendation of the Conferees on the part of the House.
Resolve to amend the Constitution in the Fourth section of the sixth article - was read a second time & referred to the next Legislature.
Bill - An Act to incorporate the Nequemkeag Bank was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence.
Bill - An Act for the further regulation of Banks came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature for concurrence - and the House concurred -
