Month of September next for the choice of State Officers - and the question of thus amending was decided in the negative by yeas and nays as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Benson, Carr, Maqoun, Manning, Edward Robinson, Elijah Robinson, Rogers, Severance, Smith, Staples, Talbot and Whitney ------- 12. Nays. Messrs. Burr, Greene, Ham, Littlefield, Mildram, J.R. Redman, F. Redman, Soule, Strickland, Swift, Woodbury and Woodman ------- 12.
And the question of adopting the amendment proposed by the House was decided in the affirmative, as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Barr, Greene, Ham, Littlefield, Manning, Mildram, J. R. Redman, F. Said Bill was read the second time; and the question of passing the same to be engrossed in concurrence with the House, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit: Yeas.
